Richard Del Connor, The Hippy Coyote is living in Los Angeles... wherever he is parked.
In 2012 Coyote was stung by a scorpion after being hired to star in Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1.
In 2013, Shaolin Pictures is producing the action/comedy Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 starring The Hippy Coyote.

I recorded these songs in 2003 and 2004 while living in Tujunga, California. These songs were recorded while rehearsing for the Coyote Radio television shows we were taping back then... Or they were recorded to sing my 4-year old son to sleep each afternoon.

Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1

Coyote's Rhino stagehand friends are excited about the movie. Several want to be in the movie.

This movie, about The Hippy Coyote (me), was originally about a homeless vigilante. I had to rewrite it with ghosts coming out of my body to do my Kung Fu fighting for me after that scorpion stung me.

If I hadn't gone back to work so soon for my brother's landscape company and the Rhino Staging... I wouldn't have damaged my body so much. The scorpion venom caused my body to swell up. So I was definitely injured. Before the swelling went away, I went back to work. But my tendons were weakened and I tore up my right arm and elbow, and especially my left leg. I've been limping a lot and realized that the limping was causing more injury to me by not bending my knee and...

Even the steroids couldn't reduce the swelling. The doctors told me not to take many, but then they had to prescribe a second dose... and then my Los Angeles doctor decided I should try to weather a third dose of prednisone to help with my swelling that lasted several months.

I've started using the stairs for exercise and take a walk in my father's canyon every afternoon where I practice my Tai Chi.

This is the last acoustic guitar album Coyote will ever record. He's vowed not to ever play acoustic guitar since he lost his Alvarez 12-string.

Coyote spent years as the "FOLK ROCK TROUBADOUR," of Tujunga, California.

Sometimes he played his flute for the neighbors as he walked his son to school or picked him up in the afternoon. Coyote performed lots of local events and parties... but he wasn't ever able to get any gigs outside his neighborhood.

Even my ex-wife wouldn't book me when she was booking bands. She says that there's no market for folk rock artists or singer-songwriters anymore.

When I lost my acoustic guitar, I knew it was over for me. Electric guitar only. But everyone should have this Coyote Radio Tujunga album. I still enjoy listening to songs like, "Don't Push Me." They motivate me. I think I was an awesome acoustic guitar player. Let's see how history regards me.

The FIRST DRAFT of the screenplay by Richard Del Connor and Scott Karahadian was 131 pages with 31 songs.

Richard is awaiting Scott’s 2ND DRAFT of the Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 script so he can edit and complete the 2ND DRAFT.

Next will be the 3RD DRAFT when the dialogue will be finalized.

As soon as we get to the 4th and FINAL DRAFT of the KUNG FU COWBOY ROCK & ROLL MOVIE 1 screenplay we will be able to begin casting and crewing and rehearsing...

Coyote’s Political Poetry?

That’s another reason why I haven’t written much poetry or music this past year: I don’t want to sing about politics. I plan to forget much of what has transpired and occurred during 2012. It was an ugly year.

But like breaking out of an egg, I’m covered in goo... but I’ll take a bath and be fine. Just like politics. Usually it only takes a shower to clean off that oral aural crap. Soon I will forget everything except a few summaries I learned. Republics are concerned with how much money they can keep. Democrats are concerned with how much money they can share. Republicans think of soldiers as employees. Democrats think of soldiers as victims. Republicans believe in saving money. Democrats believe in spending money.

I get nauseous thinking of what I’ve heard from Congressmen, Senators, and...

So, not much music or poetry was allowed to be written this last year.
