North Hollywood, California – July 1, 2014: Shaolin Records, the independent record label of Shaolin Communications, is releasing the new album by American Zen, End of the Line, recorded in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4-cylinder truck.

END OF THE LINE (11 songs - 12 tracks) by American Zen

American Zen has been inspiring audiences worldwide with their California folk rock music since 2005 with the release of their first album, LEVEL 1 = PEACE OF MIND. After releasing their fourth album on Shaolin Records, Richard Del Connor, known as “The Hippy Coyote” to his fans, accidentally became homeless the day before Christmas of 2011. After spending a couple months performing lion dances in Las Vegas, Nevada, Coyote, known as “Buddha Z” to his Kung Fu and Tai Chi students, was told to, “...hit the road.”

This story is told in the song, “Use Me,” which starts this musical journey of 11 songs ending with “Starting Over Again,” a flute instrumental song that sounds a little like “Bouree” by Jethro Tull.

The 12th song on the End of the Line album is “End of the Line - Scott Mix,” which was included because record producer Richard Del Connor was unable to finish mixing the album when another North Hollywood studio had to close its doors for financial hardship. Scott had hastily mixed together the album for Coyote and this mix of Scott has an awesome vocal sound.

Some distributors are including a free copy of the spiritual study of Vedic scriptures, Supersoul 13 - Discovering the Soul of God by Buddha Z. This book is an autobiography from 2013 when Coyote completed the screenplay, KUNG FU COWBOY ROCK & ROLL MOVIE 1, and finished composing the last songs of the End of the Album album.
