Part 1: King Solomon's Temple is the first of four albums of American Zen's 8 levels of Zen Buddhism.
  LEVEL 3 = I Want You To Love Me is American Zen's third level of Shaolin Zen Buddhism.
LEVEL 2 = CHRIST KILLER is American Zen's second album on Shaolin Records and their 2nd Level of Shaolin Zen Buddhism.  
LEVEL 1 = PEACE OF MIND was American Zen's first album of their 8-level spiritual journey
produced by Richard Del Connor on Shaolin Records.

What is a 3rd Degree Master Mason?

Starting with building of the pyramids, masons developed training programs, and working ranks. When the Jews exited Egypt and eventually began construction on their own monument, King Solomon's Temple, they formed a ranking system that is still used today by most trades and crafts.

The 1st Degree of masonry is the grunt level. You dig, shovel, and carry stuff. Ugh!

The 2nd Degree of masonry is the builder level. You shape and place the pieces together.

The 3rd Degree of masonry is the foreman level. You tell workers what to do and make sure your part of the building is built properly.

When I wrote the songs for this album and recorded them in Montrose, California, I was being raised and tested for the 3rd Degree of Masonry, the "Master Mason" degree.

The songs that were inspired by events in my personal and professional life became transposed into the story of King Solomon and Hiram Abif as they became the focus of my studies and attention. This PART 2 of the LEVEL 4 album series of American Zen, starts with the execution of the three murderers of Hiram Abif during the "Kill The Spider" song of the previous album LEVEL 4 = Kung Fu Cowboy PART 1: King Solomon's Temple, released by Shaolin Records.

With a little magic, interjected in the previous album during the song, "Horses and Harleys," King Solomon is transported to 1967...
