The house next to them in North Hollywood, California was full of newspapers and newspapers. Coyote rented it, built a studio INSIDE the garage for the band to practice in, and named it, THE BATCAVE. Rehearsals were held there by The Rich from 1986 to 1990. There are some really cool recordings of Bruce rehearsing this song, "Union Cows." He had a real hard and heavy Led Zeppelin type beat for the song.
Coyote was working at the Wayside Honor Rancho prison that year, and was inspired by his working amidst the "Union Cows." There were a couple of "foremen" there that pushed people around. Coyote warned them once, and they never "pushed him" again. This inspired the song, "Don't Push Me."
