Poetry book of lyric sheets and poetry from Coyote's journey into Mormon Utah. These pages were original typed on Coyote's IBM Selectric II typewriter then photocopied for his bandmates.

These are the pages used by Coyote and bandmates to record the LEVEL 1 = PEACE OF MIND and LEVEL 2 = CHRIST KILLER albums.

Although Coyote was a skilled trombonist and pianist, he developed this system of typing his lyrics with the chord changes over the appropriate syllables to cue his memory.

"Great Salt Lake" is the first song of the CHRIST KILLER album by American Zen.
This song features Coyote on 2 flutes, 2 acoustics, a guiro (that washboard thing), and a tambourine.

"Christ Killer" is the song and album title that is really scaring people.

"The End The Horizon" is the last song of the album and paves the way for American Zen to rejoin forces now that Coyote is back in California.

"Black Of Night" is the second song on the album. This song shows that American Zen is rock band. This was also the second song Coyote wrote after moving to Utah. All the songs are in the order written.

"Simple Lady" is a melancholy song similar to John Lennon, Donovan or James Taylor. This haunting romance portrays the folkish side of American Zen.

"Get Out Of My Dream" is the most purchased song from the iTunes store. We were surprised to discover that people were ordering Coyote's poetry as much and sometimes more than their music.

"Tai Chi Magic" is the theme song of this album. Buddha Zhen shows his musical genius by creating not only a great song, but wrote the song his students to perform the Yang Style Tai Chi Short Form to.

"In The Pool Of Enlightenment" is a 13 minute masterpiece with a wide array of musical styles from a solo shakuhachi to Kung Fu drumming to lyrical flutes to East Indian tablas...

"Night Blue Sky" ends this album with a musical hug that leaves listeners anxious for the next album and another chance to play this one. TAI CHI MAGIC #1 exposes Buddha Zhen's talents as a flutist, composer, and inspirational author.
