Coyote Hailed Best Flutist in the World

Album reviews of American Zen's second album, Level 2 = Christ Killer, are giving Coyote the credit he is due as one the world's foremost flute players and songwriters.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tujunga, California – July 23, 2007 – American Zen, America's first Buddhist rock band, released in June 2007, their follow-up album to Level 1 = Peace Of Mind. Both albums were released by Shaolin Records and produced by Richard Connor.

Level 2 = Christ Killer also represents their second level of Zen Buddhism. Coyote's poetry and songs both show a new depth and maturity from their debut album, Level 1 = Peace Of Mind.

The music production qualities of Christ Killer also exceed their first album as Shaolin Records upgrades to ProTools, the recording system used by most of the world's professional recording studios.

Recent reviews include the following praises:

...he is a master poet, and probably the greatest flutist of all time...

Hear it, love it, then hear it again.

Coyote's deep music and touching poetry goes beyond anything The Beatles or The Beach Boys ever wrote.

Christ Killer, the second level, may be one of the greatest recordings ever made by humans, and probably aliens too.

We also agree with the iTunes reviewer who referred to the Christ Killer album as, "A must own." Shaolin Records has pressed the first 1,000 copies with a limited release statement to make this first pressing of Christ Killer a collector's item.

Comparing Christ Killer to the Pet Sounds album of The Beachboys is an incredible compliment. Perhaps we shared a similar creative spirit. The Christ Killer album was our chance to reach as far as possible and do our best with technology we were learning as we learned the songs.

The Christ Killer album tells the story of Coyote living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Conflicts with the Mormons and his own metamorphosis into a spiritual creature, are detailed in the 15 songs and 7 poems of American Zen's second album.
